Academic leader Professor Lijuan Chen:

Born in 1965, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, graduated from Yeongnam University, South Korea, majoring in crop genetics and breeding. She is the leader of teaching and scientific research in universities in Yunnan Province, the post expert of the rice industry technology system in Yunnan Province, the director of the Yunnan Crop Society, the Genetics Society and the Non-Party Intellectuals Association, the deputy director of the Rice Professional Committee for the Approval of Crop Varieties in Yunnan Province, and "Molecular Plant Breeding" editorial board. He has long been engaged in the utilization of crop heterosis, the molecular genetic evolution of rice resources, and the exploration and utilization of important functional genes. In the past five years, he has presided over more than 10 projects of international cooperation, the National 973 Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Yunnan Joint Fund; published more than 20 papers in PLoS ONE, Crop Science and other journals, and edited 2 books and textbooks; Breeding and passing the provincial examination and approval of 5 new rice varieties (over 1.5 million mu in total), applying for 5 patents (3 of which have been authorized), and 6 new genes registered with NCBI; undertook Advanced Crop Breeding, Molecular The teaching of postgraduate main courses such as "Progress in Biological Research" has recruited and trained more than 50 postgraduates and postgraduates.
